Backed by Peterson Partners, Govineer Solutions to become a market leader in government accounting and utility billing software, serving over 2,000 clients across more than 40 states.

Salt Lake City, UT  – October 8, 2024 – Caselle, Civic Systems, and Black Mountain Software announced the formation of Govineer Solutions, a new platform that unites the expertise and resources of three leaders in the local government accounting and utility billing software space. The new enterprise will build upon the storied legacies of these brands, and will position Govineer Solutions as an industry leader, serving over 2,000 clients across more than 40 states, supported by a dedicated team of almost 200 employees.

By combining the strengths of Caselle, Civic Systems, Black Mountain Software (including its acquired businesses, Fiscalsoft and Cascade), Govineer Solutions will leverage collective best practices, resources, and innovation to improve the software platforms and services its clients rely on.

Clients, partners, and employees of Caselle, Civic Systems, and Black Mountain Software can expect continuity. The level of service, the solutions they use, and the team members they work with will not change. However, Govineer Solutions will bring additional resources to innovate and improve the product platforms, ensuring that clients benefit from new advancements and industry-leading capabilities.
